Welcome to East County Little League (ECLL)!

We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to “promote, develop, supervise and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball.” 

Little League helps children develop good character traits such as discipline, teamwork and physical fitness.  East County Little League provides a healthy outlet through activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation - we can't do it without volunteers! We need and welcome volunteers to the East County Community. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Our Philosophy

East county Little League endorses the National Little League philosophy, and has made only slight modifications to some of the playing rules in an attempt to enhance the playing experience for our children. The following is an excerpt from the National Little League organization:

"Little League Baseball is a program of service to youth. It is geared to provide an outlet of healthful activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation. The movement is dedicated to helping children become good and decent citizens. It strives to inspire them with a goal and to enrich their lives toward the day when of teamwork and fair play."
